Upcoming features in Google AdSense

Based on a survey form that I have recently received, you might soon see some of the following features in the AdSense program.

  1. Demographic targeting for your site
  2. Specifying your own ad formats and sizes
  3. Live chat support
  4. Provide advertisers with more information about your website (e.g., demographics, pageviews, site type)
  5. Control which ad categories appear on your site
  6. Single account manager for all G products
  7. Dedicated free customer support phone number
  8. Control which advertisers appear on your site
  9. Manage other publishers’ AdSense accounts
  10. Control what type of ads appear on your site (e.g., flash, video, gadget, text, or image ads)
  11. Face to face meetings with account manager

According to me, Live Chat Support should be the single best feature that could be added to AdSense. But taking into account the number of AdSense publishers that might be wanting to have a chat to resolve queries, you might have to wait quite a while before you are connected to a support executive.

Another question that I have is if at all they start a Live Chat Support, will it be outsourced? If not, will it be in their United States, India or Singapore office?

Specifying your own ad formats and sizes sounds great, but only for text ads. If you specify a non-standard format or size for an image or video ad, you could end up with no ads.
