Bits ‘N’ Bytes

If you have subscribed to the RSS feed, you would have already noticed the Plugin download page in the feed. If you are wondering how I got that download page on the feed, just wait, I’ll tell you about it later in another post.

So here is my first ever WordPress Plugin that I’ve built from scratch. It’s simple, but it just takes away the pain from inserting the RPU code into your template files manually which, if you are not familiar with code poetry, could be quite troublesome.

Here are some of the salient features:

1. Completely customizable. You can set each and every parameter for the RPU from the options page.
2. Automatic. Just select on what kind of pages you want the RPU to be displayed.
3. Flexible. Template tag feature to let you insert the RPU code wherever you want.
4. Widgetized. Useful when your theme has a sidebar below your post content.

I’ve personally used the RPU on many of my product related blogs and I should say that it works really well.
